Welcome back, friends! Life has been so fun lately! I went to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour (blog on that to come soon!), but before I left I had the honor of spending the afternoon making memories with this sweet, growing family! 

Storytelling through photos is a passion of mine, and while I love meeting and interacting with new faces, it’s also special when you get to photograph your friends! 

Laura and I met as freshman at (then) West Liberty State College. We lived right down the hall from each other during our year as Hilltoppers. We both transferred after that first year, went to different campuses and lived different cities, but always remained friends! Now, 17 years later (how is that possible?!), we live in the same city again!

For this session we stepped onto another campus, the University of Charleston. You could feel the excitement in Laura, Michael, and their three kids! They were so close to meeting their baby brother! However, we took this opportunity to celebrate what’s to come and enjoy their last weeks as a family of 5! Their carefree energy and silly faces kept the laughs going the whole shoot!

Since vacation and these pictures were taken, SURPRISE- Nolan has made his appearance! He is absolutely beautiful! Congratulations Laura, Michael, Jordan, Aiden, and Harper!
